May 3rd the LSMSC hosted the Commodore/Memorial Cup Marblehead Invitational. Nine skippers arrived at the Lake for some coffee and donuts before the skipper's meeting. We sailed a modified figure eight course, twice around. This allowed good competition and placement changes throughout the race.
We were lucky and while the day was cloudy, there was no rain.
